    Too bad about your wine. While I thought mine was good, I'm not sure this will become a regular varietal for me. It seemed too big to pair with most food which is how I tend to enjoy wine. Oh well.

    Sounds like a pretty tight, unyielding wine. Did food help to bring out any fruit flavour at all, or did the wine remain coiled up?

    @Amy You might be right. Cellaring Petite Sirah for a short period of time might be the way to go!

    Sephage, you're right. I recall I really didn't dig this Petite Sirah. Still not a fan.
