    Great recipe Dale, although I think you have it slightly off. Shouldn't it be two (2) bottles of Guinness?

    One to gradually mix with the dry ingredients and the second for the cook.

    At least that's always been MY method for cooking! :)

    Definitely follow the wet ingredients in EXACT order, other wise the foam combines with the butter into clumps, and it's ruined.
    The cupcakes are addictive.

    Dave, no need for two bottles of Guinness. One is plenty! Save the other bottle to drink while you're making the cupcakes!

    I made these for our St. Patrick's Day celebration at work today. They are scrumptious. Thank you for sharing your recipe. We will definitely be having them again. I must confess you do need a few extra beers to drink while mixing the batter. It smells so great you can't continue to mix without one for your other hand!
